Intensive Care & Telemetry

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Iroquois Memorial Hospital provides 24-hour nursing care for critically ill patients requiring closer monitoring than can be provided on the general floors. Combining medical, surgical and cardiac care as required, our highly qualified staff offers patients the latest in technology with a warm, caring touch.

Our state-of-the-art telemetry system allows doctors and nurses to continuously monitor patients of all ages - even when they are out of the room. Vital information about each patient's condition is displayed in the central nurses' station, and if a patient needs immediate medical attention, they are ready to respond.

We understand that a stay in the ICU can be a difficult time for you and your loved ones. Please feel free to ask our staff any questions you might have... not only will you find informative answers to your questions, you will find a compassionate listener.
