Our staff is well versed in many areas of end of life care, and offer their expertise through our Speaker's Bureau. For any of the following programs, please contact the Community Outreach Coordinator at 815-432-0185 Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Five Wishes
"The Five Wishes" give you the opportunity to control how you are treated if you become ill. It is the first living will which talks about your personal, emotional and spiritual needs as well as your medical wishes. It lets you choose the person you want to make health care decisions for you if you are not able to make them for yourself," Aging with Dignity. Our staff can assist you in learning about the Five Wishes.


Hospice 101
The Hospice 101 program is the basic information regarding the hospice program and end of life care. Clubs, health care facilities, and other organizations are often the recipients of this informative program. Our staff is always anxious to spread the word about hospice!

Inspiration, encouragement and practical advice to help you embark on the journey from where you are to where you want to be in your life.


Loss and Life Transitions
This program addresses the numerous life transitions that people experience and the effects the transitions have on us. Tips are given for coping with changes and loss.

Journaling and Other Forms of Expression
The Journaling and Other Art Forms of Expression teaches several ways in which one can reduce stress, work through their grief, decrease depression, and increase energy. This program is as fun as you want to make it!


Servant Leadership
Servant Leadership is a management style empowering employees. Program is presented by a Masters prepared employee is Servant Leadership.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Held annually each spring.

CAREGIVER'S DAY OUT: Held in conjunction with Ford-Iroquois Public Health Dept. It gives care givers an opportunity for some well-deserved pampering.

IROQUOIS COUNTY FAIR: Be sure to stop by the IMH Hospice booth in the commercial building at the Iroquois County Fair

SUPPORT GROUPS: Formal Groups, Coffee and Conversation, Lunches and Walking groups are scheduled throughout the year. Watch for dates and details.

WORLD HOSPICE DAY: October Open House; Date to be Announced.

HOLIDAY PROGRAM: Held annually in November. Watch for details.

ANNUAL HOSPICE BRUNCH: Fundraiser held each November. Watch for further information.
